The Lodge has stood tall over Lake Hird since it was originally constructed over half century ago as a part of the Passaic Boys and Girls Club summer camp in West Milford. The stunning view of the lake ringed by the verdant greenery of the forest from the back deck of the hall truly shows why we are called the Garden State.
The Lodge retains its' original stone and timber materials, which were drawn for the surrounding forests and impart a beautifully rustic feel to any event. To view the Lodge or book a date please follow the link below.
The Lake Hird Lodge is situated within the Apshawa forest in the heart of New Jersey's wilderness. The forest on property is a part of New Jersey's Forest Stewardship Program which guarantees that the natural wonders of the area will always be preserved.
Feel free to visit during normal business hours to come see the beauty of Lake Hird for yourself!
